First Playable Prototype v1

Description

Die to stay Alive (DTSA) is a prototype made in 2012 during my studies at ISART Digital.

In a Puzzle/Platformer with a 2D view, you control alternately a bunch of monkeys enclosed in a complex directed by an evil scientist, to serve as guinea pigs. Your main goal: escape to recover freedom sacrificing each monkey cleverly to create a path to the exit. However, be careful to not sacrifice all your stock of lives if you don’t want guide your people toward extinction.

Made with 3DVia Virtools in 7 months, we were 4 Game Designers and 3 Artists to prototype the game. We had to manage our time between internship and team working, so it was a good challenge to test our organization.

Note: If you want to know more about the game, please check the Post-Mortem written in the blog.
