Voodoudou: Prototype Trailer

Description

Voodoudou is a prototype made in 2011 during my studies at ISART Digital.

In this 3D Rail Shooter, no sighting reticle nor plastic gun to handle but a voodoo doll controller specifically created for the game. Sting arms, legs, the head or the stomach of your device cleverly to slow your enemies or inflict critical damages to them.

Made with 3DVia Virtools in 4 months with 2 other Game Designers and 4 Artists, the game is a semi fail as we took too much time to create this exotic device and not much enough to polish the game itself. This results in a functional controller but an experience lacking of feedbacks/juiciness and having many bugs. Nonetheless, I don’t regret this prototype as we learnt a lot.
